This is the blog of the Understanding and Developing User Focused Tribunal Hearings project. On these pages you will find regular updates on the project, as well as resources that will be published as the project develops.
The project is generously funded by the Nuffield Foundation. The project team includes Professor Chris Gill, Professor Tom Mullen, and Dr Jo Hynes.
The project explores the concept of “user focus” and examines the ways in which tribunals have developed user-focused approaches following an extensive programme of legislative reform and modernisation.
Completion of the research will help inform future policy and practice by developing models based on user experience, identifying good practice, and highlighting potential for learning across tribunal chambers and jurisdictions.
